Ferrys to Ulva are operated by Donald Munro, the ferryman. The normal ferry schedule is shown on the website [follow link below]. Donald is also prepared to offer passage across to Ulva at other times, but only by prior arrangement.

Various weather conditions can force the closure of the ferry. If in doubt, please phone one of the numbers listed at the bottom of the page.

To summon the Ferry.
When you arrive at Ulva Ferry, you will find a wooden notice. To summon the ferry, uncover the red panel of the notice. Cover the red panel as the boat approaches.
